It is a blend of the application of science, engineering knowledge, and technical skills used in support of engineering activities. Electronics is a relatively new science, but it has given birth to an industrial giant. Computers, medical electronics, automation, communications, instrumentation, radar, and robotics are but a few of the fields based on electronics. This demand has created a need for electrical engineering technologists in all phases of development, design, production, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
